I wont lie to you, Wimbledon Centre Court and Number One Tickets are very expensive (Not even to mention Wimbledon 2008 Final Tickets!) and not easy to come by. As you know, Wimbledon is a fortnight long, so let me break the prices down into:
Ticket Prices for Wimbledon 2008 Singles 1st Round until Singles 3rd Round:
(Week 1)
Number One Court Debenture: Range from £400- £700 a ticket
Centre Court Debenture: Range from £500- £990 a ticket
Ticket Prices for Wimbledon 2008 Singles Last 16 until Ladie Semi Finals:
Note: Mens Finals and Semi Finals, as well as Ladies Final’s Tickets are close to sold out and you will pay sky high prices for them!
(Week 2)
Number One Court Debenture: Range from £275- £380 a ticket
Centre Court Debenture: Range from £800- £990 a ticket
Are there Cheap Wimbledon 2008 Tickets?
Luckily there are! Depends if you want to queue or not! and when I mean queue, i mean Q-U-E-U-E.
A certain number of Wimbledon Centre Court and Number One Court Tickets get released on each day of the fortnight. The classic thing is, they got sold for the original price so these are no 2nd hand tickets that have added greedy prices on! But you will have to get in line and queue up to 2 days in advance for these tickets.
If you you just want to go for the fun of watching tennis, then i suggest you go to Court Number 2,3,4,5, etc. These tickets are much cheaper (as little as £20) and you get to sit close up, like on the court haha. (Sorry that was lame) The cheap tickets are available on the day, so don’t buy through some sneaky Ticket Sellers out side!
Can I buy tickets on the day of the match i want to watch?
The answer is yes, as long as it’s not tickets for Wimbledon Centre Court and Number One Court
